The Antique Bakhtiari rug is from the Antiquarian collection by Louis De Poortere. The pattern and colours are inspired by the Bakhtiari people from the mountainous part of Iran. The design shows a floral diamond pattern in feather shapes frames. The design was retrieved from the "Muskabad archives" of Louis De Poortere and given the "distressed treatment" to create an authentic antique or shabby chic look.
